Abdolaziz Osma

Abdolaziz Osman is an English teacher with a Bachelor’s degree in both English and Arabic Languages. He is a well-organized, passionate, and qualified educator with several years of teaching experience. Abdolaziz has a deep passion for helping students grow both academically and personally. He has taught all elementary grades from 1st to 8th, as well as adults and special needs students.

Asma Hamza

Asma Hamza holds a Bachelor’s degree in both Accounting and Economics, demonstrating a strong foundation in financial and economic principles. Additionally, she has earned a certification in Computer Science, highlighting her proficiency in technology and its applications. With over 25 years of teaching experience, Asma has dedicated her career to
educating students in all common core subjects, including mathematics,
science, language arts, and social studies. She has taught at various Islamic institutes nationwide, bringing a wealth of knowledge and a unique
perspective to her classrooms. Her extensive experience and diverse
educational background have equipped her with the skills to effectively engage and inspire students from different backgrounds and learning levels. 

Firdaws Ladan

Imam Firdaws Ladan is the respected Imam of Masjid Ibn Taymiyyah in
Glen Arden, Maryland. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Islamic Studies
from Egypt, a Diploma in Teaching Arabic and Islamic Studies from Saudi
Arabia, a Diploma in Journalism from Ghana, and a certification in Conflict
Resolution and Analysis from the United States Institute of Peace in
Washington, DC. From 1990 to 2003, Imam Firdaws wrote several short stories for children, including notable titles such as “A Bad Beginning Makes A Good Ending” and “A Friend In Need Is A Friend Indeed.” in addition to his work in children’s literature, Imam Firdaws has authored three significant books:
● Morality: An Integral Part of a Muslim Belief (Religion) – currently under editing.
● The Dilemma of an African Child (Fiction) – currently under editing.
● Qur’an, Science and the Secrets of the Unseen World (Religion) –
published in the USA in 2009.

Lalla Khadija Elghazi

With over 38 years of experience teaching in elementary schools across
Morocco, Washington DC, Alexandria, Arlington, and Maryland, Lalla
Khadija Elghazi continues to embrace new learning opportunities.

Samar Ashkar

With over 7 years of teaching experience, Samar Ashkar is dedicated to fostering a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for all her
students.Sr. Samar is excited about the opportunity to work closely with parents and to get to know each child. Her goal is to help each student succeed academically and to ensure they are fully engaged and participative
throughout the school year. She believes that a collaborative approach
between teachers and parents is crucial for the success of her students.
To best serve each child, Sr. Samar welcomes any information that can help her understand their unique needs and preferences. Sharing details about
their likes, dislikes, strengths, and areas for improvement will be incredibly
beneficial. She values parental insights as they are invaluable in helping her
tailor her teaching strategies to support each child effectively. Samar Ashakr teaches English, Math, Social studies, Science, Islamic Studies, and Art.

Dr. Peter Ahumada

Dr. Ahumada is originally from Los Angeles, California. He studied
mathematics and chemistry at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology
and has a doctorate in philosophy from the University of Georgia. He has
taught a variety of subjects in college for nine years and mathematics in
primary school for three years.

Suhad Alkhateb

Meet Suhad Alkhateb, a dedicated mother of three and an educator at MMLC for the past seven years. With a degree in pharmacy from the State University of Damascus, Suhad brings a diverse background to her teaching career. She has also dedicated herself to the study of Arabic and Quran, completing her memorization of the Holy Quran through the Al-Rajhi Electronic Academy. Suhad has embarked on a new journey as part of the Arabic and Quran team at MMLC, she is committed to fostering a supportive and enriching learning environment where students can flourish academically and
spiritually. She always strives for excellence. Suhad teachers Arabic to
beginners, intermediates, and advanced students.

Karina Zaghloul

Karima Zaghloul has a passion for accounting and teaching. With a decade of experience in the accounting field, she has developed a strong
foundation in financial management and analytical skills. Additionally, she
has spent the past two years honing her teaching abilities, sharing her
knowledge, and helping others. Karima Zaghloul speaks Arabic, French,
and English. Karima Zaghloul teaches the Quran, AlQaidah, and PE.

Latifeh Zeidan

Certified by the Islamic Ministry & Awqaf Affairs in Palestine with a
Quranic recitation certificate, and 15 years of experience as a Quran teacher
in Palestine, Latifeh Zeidan brings a deep passion for educating others in
the recitation and understanding of the Holy Quran. Her extensive background in teaching has equipped her with the skills to effectively guide students of all ages and backgrounds in their spiritual and educational journey. Latifeh teaches Quran to students to 2nd to 12th graders.

Khalida Ismael

Khalida Ismael, wife and mother of four has been on the education
scene for the past 20 years. Working in the Muslim community as an
educator and homeschooling her own children. Born in Washington DC
and raised in New Jersey, you can say that teaching is in her genes coming
from a family of teachers and educators. She brings creativity, optimism, and a hands-on approach to learning in the classroom. Sister Khalida
Ismael has lived in West Africa where she helped to establish a school for KG to middle school. She is fond of helping students understand learning
concepts by creating stimulating and practical lesson plans
