Thank you for your interest in M&M Academy, an educational institution established in 2011. M&M Learning Academy is dedicated to achieving excellence in education and linguistic arts. Our aim is to empower every student at M&M Learning Academy to create a positive impact during their time with us—both in their own lives and in the lives around them.
In our diverse academy, students cultivate a lifelong passion for learning and refine their skills to fully enjoy the advantages of education. Our academy is focused on preparing our young individuals to be responsible, globally aware citizens in a rapidly evolving world.
We take pride in offering personalized one-on-one and small group instructed classes tailored to each student’s learning needs. Through thorough assessment, we identify our students strengths and weaknesses in core subjects. Using the results from placement tests, we develop a customized instructional plan for each student. By providing the appropriate instruction in the optimal learning environment, we enhance each student’s abilities, often achieving years of progress in just weeks of instruction.

We aim to empower our Muslim youth to achieve new heights with our K-12 program, Topics including Science, Technology, Reading/Religion, Arts, and Mathematics, provides a comprehensive, hands-on learning experience designed to engage all types of learners. As pioneers in the Islamic educational community, we are proud to introduce this cutting-edge approach and set new benchmarks for excellence.
Our objective is to build a solid educational foundation at the elementary level then to rebolster learning to prepare for a college level education as our youth grow. Our program fosters collaborative inquiry and problem-solving through interactive activities, aiming to broaden students’ knowledge and understanding of the world.
There is a significant difference between classroom learning and one-on-one tutoring. Classroom teachers must address the diverse needs of many students, while personalized tutoring can lead to remarkable academic progress.
One-on-one tutoring makes subjects more engaging and relevant. For instance, a music-loving student might benefit from a tutor who explains the importance of math in music. Similarly, homeschooling offers a customized education tailored to the student’s interests, fostering a deeper love of learning.
Overall, personalized attention through tutoring or homeschooling can greatly enhance academic progress by making learning more relevant and engaging.
The state of Maryland has enacted the BOOST (Broadening Options And Opportunities for Students Today) Scholarship Program in 2016 to give students from lower income Maryland families an opportunity to find the best educational fit for their needs through providing scholarships for their children to attend a nonpublic school

Khedija K01/11/2022I first heard of this School when researching high school options for my oldest. I called the school to see if I can come tour and get more information. I was greeted so warmly on the phone and all my questions were answered I couldn’t wait to go see it in person. When I found out they offered a summer camp program, I figured I would take that opportunity to enroll my two youngest and it would be a nice way to meet all the teachers and administrators before officially enrolling my oldest for 9th grade. I can not say enough wonderful things about this school. I have never felt a sense of community like this! We are new to the area and they TRULY make me feel like I can call on them for anything. After we had such an amazing experience with summer camp I immediately enrolled my 9th grader. I’m grateful for this Islamic environment she’s in. I’m grateful that she looks forward to going to school every day. The curriculum is incredible and their focus is not just academic but the overall well-being of the students. I seriously can’t say enough good things about this school. It feels like we found a hidden gem in Lanham!

No one is perfect we all strive for the sake of Allah but the administration and the teachers are phenomenal and they put their heart into their job and take our kids as if they are theirs. We All should support our Muslim school and community because it takes a village to raise a child
